Now Why is it In fallout, they are the main fighter for the U.S.A.F they were serviced in the U.S.A.F from 1945, and retired in 1974, in its service life the F-80 served in the Korean War, and it was the first single engine jet fighter to be considered *Successful* They could have used the F-86 or the F-84, But the F-80 a strange choice, because it was the first U.S.A.F Fighter Jet to reach service in the mid and late 1940s, first tests of the F-80 were done during WW2, as a counter to German fighter jets, or the (Wonderweapons), But Back to the F-80. Why did they use an F-80 model for the fighter Jet?
